In Papa's Wingeria, Zesty Pesto is used as a dip for wings, unlocked when a player reaches Rank 19 in the game. In the HD version of the game, it is unlocked when a player reaches Rank 26. In both games, Mitch makes his first appearance when this ingredient is unlocked.
In Papa's Pastaria, Zesty Pesto is the holiday-exclusive pasta sauce available during the St. Paddy's Day celebration, unlocked with Georgito when player reaches Rank 56.
